WE SEEK THE MIND OF CHRIST

We believe that as a church, and that individually, we should emphasize those things that Jesus emphasized and "seek the mind of Christ" in all things (1 Corinthians 2:16).  In a worship gathering we focus on the elements of our worship – reading the Bible, singing the Bible, praying the Bible, and preaching the Bible.

We praise God for what He does in our lives and in the lives of others, petition Him in prayer, hear His voice as we pray, and learn His vision and direction for our lives through the study of His Word.  Our corporate worship is a rhythm of revelation and response; a gathering to listen to revelation from God’s Word through music and teaching, and responding to the Word with our voices and our lives as we embrace the following areas of discipleship:

  • Humility
  • Honesty
  • Clarity
  • Community
  • Diversity

If you haver not been up on the ridge where our building is located, you have missed one of the most spectacular views in the Granbury area. Drive up some day for meditation and prayer. From the De Cordova Bend front entrance traffic light on Fall Creek Highway, go up the hill toward the Acton Nature Center. You will see a sign pointing to the church.
