WE SEEK THE MIND OF CHRIST

We believe that as a church, and that individually, we should emphasize those things that Jesus emphasized and "seek the mind of Christ" in all things (1 Corinthians 2:16).  In a worship gathering we focus on the elements of our worship – reading the Bible, singing the Bible, praying the Bible, and preaching the Bible.

We praise God for what He does in our lives and in the lives of others, petition Him in prayer, hear His voice as we pray, and learn His vision and direction for our lives through the study of His Word.  Our corporate worship is a rhythm of revelation and response; a gathering to listen to revelation from God’s Word through music and teaching, and responding to the Word with our voices and our lives as we embrace the following areas of discipleship:

  • Humility
  • Honesty
  • Clarity
  • Community
  • Diversity

    COMMUNION

The Lord's Supper reminds us of the means by which God's salvation was secured on our behalf. The unleavened bread is a symbol of the perfection of the Person of our Lord Jesus Christ in His body, soul, and spirit. The fruit of the vine symbolized the substitutionary, propitiatory, and covenantal blood of an innocent sacrifice, shed for the remission of the sins of the quility (see Romans 3:21-26; Hebrews 2:15-17; 1 Peter 3:18).
